Hi there! I am Annie, a public relations major studying at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. With experience in PR and marketing, I am passionate about reputation management, client relations, campaign development and experiential marketing. I started my journey at Syracuse University as a psychology major, but upon careful reflection and evaluation, it was clear PR was my calling. Growing up in Newton, MA, I was constantly surrounded by the hustle of Boston and the plethora of diverse industries in the city. This planted the seed for a strong interest in entertainment and media, ultimately driving my interest to Public Relations. With that, I began making great strides to transfer into the communications school through Newhouse's highly competitive Intra-University Transfer program. By August 2023, I was admitted and starting my journey through public relations! This decision has allowed me to participate in courses centered around the principles of PR, writing and research in PR, as well as communications law, content optimization, ethics, management, and campaign development. Upon graduation in May 2026, I hope to find opportunities that will allow me to affectively apply my education to real-world concepts, as well as contribute to a great team of communicators.
